The registration deadline for the Kostanay Coaches Memorial Tournament is September 1
The Kostanay Coaches Memorial Tournament will be one of the next preparation competitions for the elite male boxers in Kazakhstan. The next edition of the international event will be held in Kostanay on September 23-29.
Boxers who were born between 1984 and 2005 are eligible to attend in the Kostanay Coaches Tournament. The competition will be staged in all of the 13 male weight categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg) in Kostanay.
The registration deadline for the Kostanay Coaches Memorial Tournament is September 1 and all of the entries, flight details and passport copies must be send to the organizer of the competition, Mrs. Svetlana Mahleyt.
The costs for the accommodation and the meals are 50 US dollars per person per day during the Kostanay Coaches Memorial Tournament.
Kostanay is one of the most active boxing cities in Kazakhstan next to Astana, Atyrau, Shymkent, Almaty, Pavlodar and Aktau in the recent three years and the region developed rapidly due to their energetic leadership.
The Kostanay Coaches Tournament is an elite competition for the elite men boxers dedicated for the honoured trainers of the USSR and KazSSR. The competition remembers to Mr. Valeriy Nikulin, Mr. Vadim Gravitskiy, Mr. Mursal Tazhmakin, Mr. Vitaliy Levshin, Mr. Anton Kim and Mr. Sergey Skripnik.
ASBC champions from Kazakhstan such as Biybars Zheksen and Yerassyl Zhakpekov were the stars of the last edition of the tournament but Nurmagambet Yusupov became the lone boxer who defended his throne in Kostanay in 2023. The number of elite male boxers was 58 in the Kostanay Coaches Memorial Tournament last year.
