The President’s Cup for the elite women and men boxers will be held in Indonesia on July 20-29
The city of Labuan Bajo and Indonesian Boxing Association will be hosting the 23rd edition of the President’s Cup this year. Indonesia’s traditional boxing event will be held for the elite women and men boxers in Labuan Bajo in July 20-29. The teams and the delegations will be able to arrive to the Komodo International Airport.
The registrations are available to all National Federations in the globe to the 23rd President’s Cup until June 20. The competition will be one of the highlights in the month of July short after the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament and to be held for the women’s and men’s elite boxers in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara.
The women boxers will be able to attend in six weight classes in Labuan Bajo: light flyweight (48kg), flyweight (51kg), bantamweight (54kg), featherweight (57kg), lightweight (60kg) and light welterweight (64kg).
The men’s event is scheduled to be held in eight different categories: pinweight (46kg), light flyweight (49kg), flyweight (52kg), bantamweight (56kg), lightweight (60kg), light welterweight (64kg), welterweight (69kg) and middleweight (75kg).
The day of the arrival to the event is July 20 The gold, silver and bronze medalists and the best team of the event will be received money prizes at the 23rd President’s Cup. The first edition of the President’s Cup was held in 1976 and the last one in 2015.
