The President of ASBC and the whole Asian Boxing Family wishes Happy Birthday to Mr. Omar Saleh Al-Jaberi

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba, the whole Asian Boxing Family and the management of ASBC wishes Happy Birthday to Mr. Omar Saleh-Al-Jaberi who was appointed as Sports Director of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) on December 2018 and works for the continent’s developments with his strong team together.

Mr. Omar Saleh Omar Al-Jaberi was born in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on March 27 in 1973 and celebrates his 47th birthday today. He finished his studies in Abu Dhabi in the 90’s where he finalized Bachelor Level of Science in electronics engineering.

Mr. Omar Saleh Al-Jaberi joined to the world of boxing in 2002 and started his work in the United Arab Emirates Boxing Federation. He began his works in boxing as Referee & Judge following his various level of courses and many other administrative and organizational tasks in the developing boxing nation.

He has done successfully the AIBA 1-star and AIBA 2-stars Referee & Judge Courses in the recent years at the beginning of the decade. Mr. Al-Jaberi operated the scoring systems and officiated all local championship in the United Arab Emirates as Supervisor which national competitions increased his experiences in the boxing environment.

Mr. Al-Jaberi has done his successful ITO exam in Almaty, Kazakhstan in October 2016 as many other Asian officials. He worked as ITO (International Technical Official) in several competitions in 2017 including various ASBC Asian Boxing Championships. Mr. Al-Jaberi officiated the boxing tournament of the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games as ITO which was held on October 2018.

Mr. Al-Jaberi’s experiences in the boxing world and his well-known positive personality is strengthening in the Asian Boxing Confederation and his work could be the way of success for Asia’s boxing life in the forthcoming years.

Mr. Al-Jaberi attended in all of the ASBC Asian Boxing Championships in 2019, he was one of the key figures in terms or organizational matters and supported the success and developments of boxing in the recent 15 months.
