The Olympic Dreamer Tournament & Training Camp will feature in Sarajevo on February 12-28
The Olympic Dreamer Tournament and the International Training Camp will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina between February 12 and 28. The international event and the training camp is new on the boxing map but the local organizers have all of the experience to arrange a strong competition in Sarajevo.
The date of the international competition is February 12-18 and their training camp will follow that from the 18th until the 28th. Mr. Adnan Pasic, the local organizer, is waiting for teams from all around the globe as last time before the Mustafa Hajrulahovic Memorial.
After the Bocskai Memorial Tournament, the Arab Boxing Championships, the Golden Girl, the Boxam Tournament, the Nations Women’s Cup and the Strandja Memorial Tournament, the last preparation competition before the 1st World Olympic Qualifier will be the Olympic Dreamer Boxing Tournament & Training Camp.
The 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event will take place in Busto Arsizio, North Italy between February 29 and March 13 therefore the event in Sarajevo could be a top opportunity for all nations to finalize their preparations.
The women boxers will be able to compete in the six Olympic weight categories in Sarajevo: 50kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 66kg and 75kg.
The male boxers will compete in their seven official Olympic weight classes in Bosnia & Herzegovina’s capital city: 51kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 71kg, 80kg, 92kg and +92kg.
Sarajevo is the city of the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, the city of sports and the city of boxing. The competition venue is the Hotel Hills Sarajevo Congress and Termal Spa Resort which is located in a fantastic environment.
Bosnia & Herzegovina hosted several successful international competitions in 2023 and the country have strong background to organize tournaments in 2024 as well.
