The officials, coaches and boxers wore Olympic Day T-shirts during the finals in Bangkok to support Olympic boxing

The ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, many of the coaches and the boxers wore special Olympic Day T-shirts in the venue of the finals in the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium to support the upcoming programs.

Uzbekistan topped the overall medal standings and the team rankings at the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships in the Huamark Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand with their fourteen gold medals but there was another highlight in the day of the finals, a strategic promotion for the Olympic Day.

The National Olympic Committee of Thailand have empowered the Thai youth to create a health conscious throughout the years. The Walk-Run Olympic Day 2023 event happens on June 23 every year and the purpose of this event is to encourage healthy people of all genders to celebrate the founding agenda of the International Olympic Committee, which is organized by the National Olympic Committee of Thailand under the royal patronage. This activity has attracted a large number of participants every year.

ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, the Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand will organize this event. As the Chairman of the event, Olympic Day 2023 has prepared a full-fledged program to connect with our brothers and sisters in the nearby provinces. The Olympic Day plays a crucial role in promoting tourism, preventing local culture, spreading happiness, as well as generating income for the community.

The program will underline the importance of Olympic boxing and our combat sport to keep in the official schedule of Paris 2024. The Theme of the World Olympic Day last year was “Together for a peaceful World” and ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira participated in the program last June as several of the Thai officials. The Olympic Day contains runs all over the world, introduction of the various sports and gathering to celebrate the Olympic movement together. The International Olympic Committee invited the affiliated National Olympic Committees to create their own Olympic Day activities, gatherings, social programs and runs.
