The Official Draw of the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships confirmed the participation of 150 boxers

Following the Technical Meeting, the Official Draw of the ASBC Asian Elite Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships was also held in the Le Meridien Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The number of the boxers is 150 including 47 women from 17 different nations in the ASBC Asian Elite Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships.

Mr. Walid Jarrar of Jordan, the Technical Delegate of the competition, led also the Official Draw in the Le Meridien Hotel. The following nations are attending in the Dubai event: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Indonesia, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Laos, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.

Kazakhstan’s two-time ASBC Asian Youth Champion Makhmud Sabyrkhan moved up to the bantamweight (56kg) and received the right at the very first time to compete in a major elite championship. The Kazakh talent will be meeting in a top contest with India’s Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Mohamed Hussamuddin first.
