The next Hadi Karim Tournament will be held for the schoolboys and juniors in Iraq
Iraq’s regional event, the next edition of the Hadi Karim Tournament will be held in Al-Kut at the Wasit Governorate in the upcoming days.
The competition period of the new edition of the Hadi Karim Tournament in Iraq is November 28 and 29 and all of the boxers are ready to show their progress.
Iraq arranged several regional competitions in the recent months and their training centres in Kirkuk, Al-Kut and Karbala have impressive future talents in our sport.
The exhibition hall of the Al-Haydariya Youth Forum is the official venue of the competition in the city of Al-Kut which is located in Eastern Iraq and it lies along the Tigris River, 160km southeast from the capital city of Baghdad.
The next Hadi Karim Tournament will be held by the Wasit Federation and its head of the organization, Mr. Mohammed Jassim Abadi.
The boxers who were born in 2009 and in 2010 will be competing in the junior part of the Hadi Karim Tournament.
The younger talents from the 2011 and 2012 age groups are eligible to participate in the schoolboys competition of the Hadi Karim Tournament.
Around 60 young junior and schoolboy talents are expected to take part in the two-days long competition in the Wasit Governorate.
Iraq has strong tradition in our sport and boxing’s first mentions in the ancient times are from that region, the Sumerian civilization and cities.
