The experienced boxers advanced to the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth & Junior National Championships

The quarter-finals were held in the new edition of the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth & Junior National Championships in the city of Almaty. The experienced boxers from the international stage as Akbota Bolat, Khava Bolkoyeva, Symbat Aliaskar, Ulbolsyn Aman and Nazerke Serik all advanced to the semi-finals.
Boxers who were born in 2003 and in 2004 are eligible to attend in the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth National Championships. The younger boxers from the 2005 and 2006 age groups can box at the Kazakhstan Women’s Junior National Championships in Almaty which holds parallel and together with the youth hopes.
The youth girls can compete in 11 categories from the pinweight (46kg) up to the heavyweight (+81kg) in Almaty. The younger junior talents can attend for the medals in 14 divisions from the pre-pinweight (44kg) up to the heavyweight (+80kg) in the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth & Junior National Championships.
The youth event is a preparation and selection before the main international goals of the year including the upcoming AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which is scheduled to be held in Kielce, Poland on April 10-24. The junior girls have been preparing also to their upcoming international events.
Akbota Bolat won her quarter-final bout by RSC at the light flyweight (48kg)
Kyzyl-Orda region’s Akbota Bolat amazed in the recent junior competitions and joined to the youth age group. She competes at the light flyweight (48kg) in the national event and continued her winning path in Almaty. She controlled the first round against Karagandy region’s Zhasmin Baytakova and she was still able to increase her tempo in the second. Following her powerful punches, the experienced referee Mr. Nurbek Batyrov confirmed her RSC victory.
Bolkoyeva and Aliaskar dominated their quarter-finals at the flyweight (51kg)
Pavlodar region’s Khava Bolkoyeva has got already international experiences in spite the fact she is only 17 now. The youth flyweight (51kg) boxer dominated her quarter-final over Aruzhan Amirzhan of Kyzyl-Orda region and won the bout by a quick RSC triumph. Her main national rival, Dzhambul region’s Symbat Aliaskar also competed internationally as a junior boxer and spent also less than nine minutes in the ring at the quarter-finals. Aliaskar was too strong for Asel Kairatkyzy of Almaty and joined to the last four of the weight category.
Aman and Tsoy are in the semi-finals of the bantamweight (54kg)
Nur-Sultan Ulbolsyn Aman arrived to the venue of the Kazakhstan Women’s Youth National Championships as the main favourite at the bantamweight (54kg). The 17-year-old talent is one of the best female youth boxers from the Kazakh capital who needed only 26 seconds to advance to the semi-finals. Aman used an aggressive tactic against Almaty’s Yevgeniya Grafeyeva and finished the contest less than half minute of fight. Her next rival will be Dzhambul region’s Anzhelika Tsoy who eliminated Meruert Burabay of Almaty.
Nazerke Serik walked over to the semi-finals of the featherweight (57kg)
Dzhambul region’s Nazerke Serik won the gold medal at the Fujairah 2019 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships. She is one of the best hopes for Kazakhstan and as expected she joined to the last four at the youth featherweight (57kg). Nazerke Serik’s opponent Aidyn Temirzhan was not able to box against her in the quarter-finals. Serik’s next rival will be Tatyana Zakrevskaya who stopped Makhabbat Sartayeva in Almaty where Arailym Nurkuatova and Guldana Ibrakhimgabidulla are also secured their places in the last four.
