The drawing with 90 Asian boxers was held in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in St. Petersburg

The drawing ceremony of the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships was held in St. Petersburg, Russia where 10 new champions will be crowned on November 26 which is the day of the finals in the Sibur Arena.
Among the attending 351 boxers 90 are Asians while among the 63 participating countries 16 arrived from Asia. Afghanistan, China, Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Tajikistan, Thailand and Uzbekistan have sent teams to the new edition of the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships from our continent.
China, India, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan sent maximum number of 10 boxers to the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships to St. Petersburg. A superb Asian contest will be held between Uzbekistan’s AIBA Junior World Champion Bilolbek Mirzarakhimov and Kazakhstan’s ASBC Asian Junior Champion Sanatali Toltayev in the first preliminary round of the Lightweight class (60kg).
