The Cup of the Governor of the Fergana Region will be a top highlight in August
Uzbekistan’s next event, the Cup of the Governor of the Fergana Region will be held for the women’s junior and youth boxers in the city of Fergana on August 17-23.
Uzbekistan is one of the leaders even in women’s boxing and their junior and youth female boxers shined in all of their major international championships in the recent years.
The venue of the women’s youth and junior competition is the Fergana Olympic and Paralympic Training Sports Centre at the Alisher Navoi street 55.
The boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008 are eligible to participate in the youth competition of the Fergana Governor Cup.
The younger boxers from the 2009 and the 2010 age groups will be able to compete in the junior part of the international female event.
The first competition day of the Cup of the Governor of the Fergana Region is August 18 while the finals will take place on August 22.
The expenses of travels, accommodation and meals for the athletes and the coaches are covered by the sending organizations. The expenses of the Referees & Judges are covered by the Fergana Regional Governor, the Regional Sports Department and the Fergana Regional Department of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation.
The Ohu Hotel Fergana, the Diyor Hotel, the Saroy Garden Hotel, and the Chinor Hotel are the accommodation options during the competition for 65 USD per persons per day.
