The Asian Junior Champion Akhmadi Arvaz earned another gold medal at the Murataliev Memorial Tournament

The 15th edition of the Murataliev Memorial Tournament took place in the Gazprom Arena in the city of Talas, Kyrgyzstan. The ASBC Asian Junior Champion Akhmadi Arvaz proved his strong skills once again and he won this international competition in Talas.
Kyrgyzstan sent five strong pugilists to the Commonwealth of Independent States Games to Azerbaijan where they have one finalist, but they have huge pool of boxers to compete also in the Murataliev Memorial Tournament.
The number of the boxers were 104 in the Murataliev Memorial Tournament and the boxers who were born in 2008 and in 2009, were eligible to participate in Talas.
A 17-year-old Russian boxer, Arseniy Lokhnev stopped all of his opponents at the flyweight in the event including Bishkek’s Yntymak Askaraliyev in the final contest.
Nursultan Duyshonaliyev has strong experience from the previous international events and his brothers are also boxers in Kyrgyzstan. The 16-year-old talent defeated his main rivals such as Russia’s Sviatoslav Melnichenko and Kyrgyzstan’s Daniel Tashtanbekov to take the title.
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan had tough boxers at the lightweight (60kg) in the event but the gold medal went to the Chui region’s 16-year-old Ramzan Khasanov who triumphed over Umar Tashmetov in the final bout.
Kazybek Ergeshov, another 16-year-old boxer claimed the gold medal in the next category while the older talent from the city of Osh, Mukhamed Abdumanapov also won four contests in the busy competition in Talas.
Kyrgyzstan’s ASBC Asian Junior Champion Akhmadi Arvaz won more than 90% of his contests during his boxing career and he continued his winning path at the Murataliev Memorial. The 17-year-old big puncher defeated three Kyrgyz opponents as Isa Semenov, Abdygany Mukhamediminov and Iskander Rasulzhanov to earn the middleweight (75kg) title.
A local Talas-based boxer, Eraly Alybayev defeated his opponents by RSC to take the light heavyweight (80kg) gold medal while Uzbekistan’s Abdulbasyt Khamidullayev also stopped his final opponent, Nuraly Abdrashitov of Kyrgyzstan.
Chui region’s Aitbek Berdimuratov dominated the heavyweight final over Isa Tologonov while Russia’s Ivan Baybakov destroyed Kyrgyzstan’s Karim Imankhodzhayev at the super heavyweight with a KO victory.
