The Asian Champion Anushervon Sidigov is a finalist in the Tajikistan Schoolboys National Championships
The ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Anushervon Sidigov advanced to the finals of the Tajikistan Schoolboys National Championships in the city of Kulob.
Kulob is the fourth biggest city in Tajikistan and it is located in the Khatlon region, also famous of its sports schools.
The boxers who were born in 2011 and in 2012 are eligible to participate in the Tajikistan Schoolboys and Schoolgirls National Championships.
The young talents are able to compete at the 33kg, 35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg, 70kg and +70 weight categories.
Tajikistan’s ASBC Asian Schoolboys Champion Anushervon Sidigov moved up to the 35kg weight class but he was unstoppable for all of his opponents until the road of the finals. The 14-year-old top talent will now meet for the title of the Schoolboys National Championships with Jabrail Nuraliyev of Khatlon region.
Another Sughd region’s pugilist, Dilshod Sidzhayev claimed a bronze medal at the 2024 ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships and the 14-year-old boxer is their next top future hope in our sport. Sidzhayev eliminated Davlatnazar Davlatmamadov in the semi-finals of the 37kg weigh category and he will now face with a local boxer, Akhmad Mirzoyev.
Dushanbe’s best boxer in this age group, Ali Nazarov was a quarter-finalist at the 2024 edition of the ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Al Ain. Nazarov moved up from the 52kg up to the 55kg weight category but he defeated Nasim Mamatkulov with dominance to meet Abdullo Saloyev of Khatlon in the final.
Sughd region’s Askarshokh Mavlonov also had the international routine from the 2024 ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships and he triumphed over Bokhtar’s Mukhammad Pulodov to meet Alijon Shukurov for the title of the 70kg weight class.
Idris Fakhriyev (40kg), Sunatullo Giyoyev (43kg), Safarali Khojanazarov (46kg), Abdulvakhob Safarov (61kg), Abubakr Alamov (64kg), and Akhad Boboyev (67kg) are all local boxers in the Khatlon region who joined the finals of the Schoolboys Nationals.
