The Asian Boxing Confederation produced and revealed its 2019 ASBC Annual Report

The Asian Boxing Confederation produced and revealed its 2019 Annual report and shared it with all of the affiliated National Federations. The size of the report is 80 pages and contains all of the necessary information about the activities of the Asian Boxing Confederation in the highest possible transparency.

President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba had an opening speech in the ASBC Annual Report which summarizes the year of 2019. ASBC Executive Director Mr. Ali Salameh, furthermore staff members as Mr. Omar Saleh Al-Jaberi, Mr. Wail Elsadig, Mr. Bassam Ghanem, Mr. Tibor Kincses, Mr. Baglan Beysenov, Mr. Imran Khan and Mrs. Margit Kincses arranged the contents of the ASBC Annual Report.

The top management of the Asian Boxing Confederation hold its first historical Virtual Executive Committee Meeting via Zoom to negotiate the most important topics during the Covid-19 pandemic on May. Altogether 10 out of the 15 ASBC Executive Committee members could attend in the online meeting.

ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba of United Arab Emirates, and all of the four ASBC Vice-Presidents as Mr. Yousuf Ali Al-Kazim of Qatar, Mr. Chaiwat Chotima of Thailand, Mr. Wu Di of China and Mr. Yoo Jae Joon of South Korea attended in the virtual meeting. Furthermore, five EC members as Ms. Shelly Selowati H. Soejono of Indonesia, Mr. Syed Abdul Kadir of Singapore, Mr. Edgar Picson of the Philippines, Mr. Jay Kowli of India and Mr. Dian Gomes of Sri Lanka joined to the ASBC Executive Committee meeting who all approved the 2019 ASBC Annual Report.

The 2019 ASBC Annual Report contains information about the governance of the Asian Boxing Confederation, the affiliated ASBC National Federation, the structures of the board members, General Assembly, ASBC Commissions and ASBC Staff members.

Following the introduction of the developments, all of the five ASBC Asian Boxing Championships have been reported which events took place in 2019. The ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships was held in Bangkok, which followed the ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Kuwait City, the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships in Fujairah, the ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships in Ulaanbaatar and the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Boxing Championships in China.

The Best of the Asians was launched still back in 2012 therefore it is an important part in the ASBC Annual Report as well. The financial activities, highlights, budget, statements and forecasts close the 2019 ASBC Annual Report.

The Asian Boxing Confederation is planning to host events in the last part of the year which depends on the Covid-19 situation around our continent. The final decisions about the upcoming ASBC Championships will be made on August 2020.
