The ASBC management wishes Happy Pentecost to the whole Boxing Family
The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira of Thailand and the whole ASBC management wish Happy Pentecost to all boxing officials, boxers, coaches, referees and judges, media members, National Federations, stakeholders and to the whole Asian Boxing Family.
All of the Christian communities including the Catholics, Protestants and Eastern Orthodox have been celebrating the holiday of Pentecost worldwide including Asia as well. Pentecost is a very important celebration in the Philippines and several other Asian countries in the Christian communities throughout the whole continent.
The Christian holiday of Pentecost is celebrated on the 49th and 50th days after the Easter Sunday and Monday to celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit. The two-day long holiday starts with Whitsunday or Whitsun and finishes next day with Whit Monday.
The Asian Boxing Confederation prepared hard to its next event the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships which will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan from July 14 until the 30th of the month.
