The Andizhan region hosts the Uzbekistan Junior National Championships
The Uzbekistan Boxing Federation arranged its next competition, the Junior National Championships in the Andizhan region where all of their new generation members are participating for the 15 titles.
The Andizhan region has the population of more than 3 million and it is separated into 14 different districts. The region is famous of its petroleum, natural gas, cotton, watermelons, vegetables and car production but also it is one of the boxing centres of Uzbekistan.
The 2009 and 2010 born boxers are eligible to participate in the Uzbekistan Junior National Championships in the Andizhan region. Several of the participants claimed medals in the 2024 ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships.
Their top talents are all are participating in the Uzbekistan Junior National Championships from all regions of Uzbekistan and the event has six competition days.
The weight categories of the Uzbekistan Junior National Championships are the following: 42kg, 44kg, 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and the +80kg. The 42kg and the 44kg are the additional divisions to the competition as in the recent years in Uzbekistan.
The smaller weight categories are very popular in the Junior National Championships and after the regional selections, the top quality of boxing is guaranteed.
Kamronbek Bakhodirov (46kg), Khabibulla Saynazarov (50kg), the ASBC Schoolboys medallist Mukhammadali Istamov (52kg), Abdullo Yusupov (54kg), Bobomurod Boymirzayev (57kg), Ibrokhim Shokirjonov (60kg), Asilbek Abdukodirov (60kg), Abrorbek Sharipov (63kg), Saidokhudja Saydillakhudjayev (66kg), Khurshidbek Jurayev (75kg), Diyorbek Murodulloyev (75kg) and Artur Kenesbayev (+80kg) are all the top junior stars in Uzbekistan.
