The Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament will be the highlight of the upcoming days in Jordan

The Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament will be Asia’s next international activity in the busy year of 2019 and will be holding in Jordan in the forthcoming days. Six Western Asian countries registered to take part in the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament which is a new competition in the boxing map.
The hard work of the Jordan Amateur Boxing Association paid off in the recent years, their first breakthrough was their participation in the London 2012 Olympic Games. The main input to Jordan’s boxing life was the Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships on home soil. Two of their boxers qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and their goal is to achieve even more in the upcoming year.
Jordan’s best boxer heavyweight (91kg) star Hussein Iashaish was invited to attend in the Europe vs. Asia Dual Match in Prague, Czech Republic which will be held on February 2 and will be missed the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament. His younger brother 20-year-old Zeyad Eshaish is the current Arab Champion and achieved bronze at the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games proving his strong development.
Host Jordan will be represented the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament with two men’s elite teams in local environment and for their best boxers the competition will be the first one in their schedule in 2019.
Yemen is a developing boxing country which hosted their National Championships two months ago and their best ones have been selected to compete in the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament in two different teams.
Kuwait attended high number of international events in the last decade and their boxers will be returning in the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament. Iraq has got high number of boxers in all levels of boxing and their powerful squad will be also there in Al-Baqaa.
Lebanon is trying to regain his place among the Arabic countries and the upcoming Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament will be supporting their athletes to compete against strong nations. The sixth registered country to the Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament is Palestine which competed also in the recent ASBC events.
The Al-Baqaa International Boxing Tournament will be supporting the boxers to prepare well to the upcoming Arab Boxing Championships and the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships.
