The 35th edition of the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament will be held in Karaganda in December 16-22

The next edition of the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament will be held in the city of Karaganda between December 16 and December 22. The competition period of the 35th edition of the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament is between December 17 and 21 and all National Federations are eligible to register for this men’s elite competition.
Galym Zharylgapov was Kazakhstan’s legendary coach and the competition was named after him to his memory remains. Strengthening of friendly sport relations, increasing the boxers’ skills, identification of the strongest boxers, development and popularization of boxing in the Karaganda region are further goals of the upcoming Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament in Karaganda.
The 35th edition of the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament will be held in the Center of Development of Boxing in Karaganda which complex was named after Kazakhstan’s London 2012 Olympic Games winner Serik Sapiyev. His weight class the welterweight (69kg) recognized as the most special in the Galym Zharylgapov Memorial Tournament where the winner will be getting a special prize.
