Thailand’s Porntip Buapa – I am ready to fight in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budapest

Thailand’s 18-year-old Porntip Buapa claimed gold medal at the women’s lightweight (60kg) in the Bangkok 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships therefore her expectations are high in the upcoming Budapest 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
Atichai Phoemsap won the men’s lightweight (60kg) at the Bangkok 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships which means Thailand dominated that category in both genders. The Udon Thani-based Porntip Buapa joined to the national team one and half year ago but her development is significant.
“I am fine in my preparation to the Budapest 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships. I think have done the hardest preparation and trainings this year in my whole career to accomplish my goals. We were focusing to my strength which is the key element in my boxing style. My body is in top shape I feel it and I am ready to fight in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
The Thai men youth team joined to the international training camp in Hungary today but I will be arriving to Budapest only on August 18th which means I can finalize my preparation in home environment. I would like to get a medal in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships and to be an Olympic boxer in the future,” said Thailand’s best woman youth boxer Porntip Buapa about her preparation for the Budapest 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
