Syria is scheduled its R&J Seminar, the Junior National Championships and the Elite National Championships

The Syrian Arab Boxing Association hosted its Youth National Championships a few weeks ago and their boxers are in continuous training camps together with the Iranians. The President of the Syrian Arab Boxing Association is very active to host further events in the country in order to bring back Syria to the map. Their new National R&J Seminar, the Junior National Championships and the Elite National Championships are all scheduled in the upcoming weeks.

The Syrian Arab Boxing Association decided to host a Seminar for national level Referees & Judges in the city of Aleppo in March 16-21. The national course will consist theoretical and practical parts to increase the level of the knowledge of their referees. The National Referees & Judges Seminar will be held in two languages at the very first in Syria, in Arabic and also in English.

The Chairman of the ASBC Refereeing & Judging Commission and the President of the Syrian Arab Boxing Association Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib will be one of the instructors of the Seminar. AIBA 3-star Referee & Judge Mr. Issa Al-Nassar and the Chairman of the Syrian Refereeing & Judging Commission, AIBA 2-star R&J Mr. Hassan Brez will be joining to the President in the project. The National Seminar will be held in high quality and the participants have to done practical exams as the final step of the project.

The Syrian Junior National Championships is scheduled to take place in Aleppo starting from March 18 until the 23rd and all regions are planning to attend in the event. The Syrian Elite National Championships is planning to host in the city of Tartous in April 6-10.  All of the Syrian regions and cities will be hosting their selection events before the National Championships.

The Syrian youth team will be also joining to the second Iranian training camp in the end of February. That second camp for the next generation boxers will be continuing until the 4th of March and supports the preparation to the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which took place in Poland in April.
