Strong Asians will compete at the Dracula Open Tournament but the registrations are still open until February 6
The registrations for the upcoming Dracula Open Tournament are still in progress until the February 6 but nearly 450 boxers are already registered to participate, including such strong nations as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The next edition of the Dracula Open Tournament will be held in Romania between February 15 and 24 and its competition period is February 16-23. There will be also a 3-star Referee & Judge Course during the Dracula Open Tournament with experienced instructors.
Kazakhstan has registered 31 male junior boxers to the upcoming Dracula Open Tournament from their best 2009 and 2010 born talents.
Uzbekistan’s reigning ASBC Asian Junior Champion Saidkhuja Sadillakhudjayev also entered to the Dracula Open Tournament and he could be one of the top highlights in the Romanian international event.
Kuwait is the third Asian registered nation in Braila for the very first time in order to manage their young talents for the future events.
The local organizers shared the event into eight competition days due to the high number of expected participants.
The competition will be held in two rings at the Polivalenta Hall in the city of Braila which has the capacity of 3,000 seats.
The teams can arrive and depart to and from the Bucharest International Airport and the local organizers will provide transport to Braila.
The Romanian Boxing Federation hosted an international event for the junior and youth boxers in Brasov on February 2022 and the event moved to Arad and renamed to Dracula Open in 2023. The venue of the competition was the Polivalenta Hall in Ploiesti in 2024 and it will host the city of Braila as next.
