Stars are attending in the upcoming Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament

The next Asian event, the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament will be the highlight of the month of April. Many of the stars will join to the competition and not only from the Asian continent, but from Europe, Africa and Oceania too which makes the event as a small world championships.

The new edition of the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament will be held in Phuket on April 1-10 and the event returns to the boxing map after two and half years of break. The management of the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament confirmed that further teams are not able to register to the event due to the accommodation capacity and the registrations are closed.

Kazakhstan’s defending AIBA World Champion Saken Bibossynov, their silver medallist from the last Belgrade edition, Serik Temirzhanov registered to the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament. India’s ASBC Asian Champion Amit Panghal will return to the international stage at the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament and their team contains high number of stars.

Philippines’ stars as Rogen Ladon, Carlo Paalam, Josie Gabuco, Nesthy Petecio, Irish Magno and Ian Clark Bautista all registered to attend in Phuket. Thailand’s top boxers are all will be there in the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament in Phuket. The Mongolians, the Italians, the Algerians, the Armenians, the Vietnamese, the Indonesians will be there with strong boxers while Chinese Taipei selected AIBA Women’s World Champion Chen Nien Chin too.

The money prizes and the accommodation place confirmed in the upcoming Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament. The individual gold medallists will earn 2000 USD, the silver medallists 1000 USD while the bronze medallists each 500 USD in the new edition of the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament. There are additional money prizes for the best boxer of the tournament and the best team of the competition.

The pre-training camp for the boxers before the start of the Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament are in progress, it holds on March 23-30 to help the delegations to prepare to the competition. The Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament will be a preparation event before the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships and EUBC European Elite Boxing Championships.  

All of the participants have to register for PCR test at Phuket Airport first and in order to get the Thailand Pass. The cost for the PCR test is 3,500 Thai baht per person. More information and registrations for the PCR tests in the Phuket Airport are available in this website:
