Shikhshabekova, Dzhumayev and Alybayev won their first elite titles at the Kyrgyz National Championships

Kyrgyzstan’s new young sensations, three 18-year-old boxers, such as Milana Shikhshabekova, Amantur Dzhumayev and Tynystan Alybayev won their first ever elite titles in the National Championships.

The management of the Kyrgyz Boxing Federation host two important national events in the month of December and their next will be coming soon for the youth boxers.

Their Elite National Championships featured in the city of Manas at the Dzhalal-Abad region which was the most successful among the regions in the event. Altogether 21 females and 96 men elite boxers competed in the 2025 edition of the Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships in Manas.

Such superb Kyrgyz boxers as Anvarzhan Khodzhiyev, Sanzhai Seidakmatov, Ryspek Bektenov, Omar Livaza, Almaz Orozbekov, Ikhtiyar Nishonov, Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu, Erkin Adylbek Uulu and Myrzakir Koshaliyev had to miss the National Championships due to the current IBA Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships.

Dzhalal-Abad region’s Sogdiana Baltabayeva won the first female final in Manas, she defeated Nurayim Osmonova of Osh at the minimumweight.

Kyrgyzstan’s new sensation, Milana Shikhshabekova is only 18-year-old but she won already an international tournament in Kazakhstan and despite her young age, she controlled the second female final over Adelina Satybaldiyeva.

Miraida Tashpulatova and Chui region’s Adelya Asylbek Kyzy dominated the next women’s finals in Manas.

Bishkek’s 20-year-old Bekzat Ergeshov, an ASBC Asian Youth silver medallist, did not underestimate his opponents and he knocked out Yasur Taalaybek Uulu in the first male final of the Kyrgyz Nationals.

Zafarbek Kamilov is even younger than Ergeshov, the 19-year-old Asian medallist won all of his three contests including his final over Nursultan Asanakunov.

Amantur Dzhumayev is a Junior World Champion, Asian Junior Champion talent who made a fantastic debut among the elite boxers and he defeated Osh’s Azizbek Khodzhayev to take the men’s lightweight (60kg) title.

Osh region’s Mirzokhid Imamnazarov, the ASBC Asian Elite bronze medallist, walked over to the title against the 18-year-old Dilerbek Sadirov in one of the most difficult categories.

Dzhalal-Abad region’s 21-year-old Eldar Turdubayev is a pig puncher and his strength was decisive in his final against Bishkek’s Askhat Chomonov.

Another local boxer, the ASBC Asian Elite Championships bronze medallist Nuradin Rustambek Uulu was the top favourite of the middleweight (75kg) but he suffered an unexpected loss to Bishkek’s Atay Damir by bout review.

The former Asian Junior bronze medallist Sagyn Satybaldy Uulu, Mukhammadaziz Zakirov, the 18-year-old Asian Youth Champion Tynystan Alybayev and Bishkek’s Aidar Andreyev won the heaviest weight categories in Manas.
