Seven teams shared the gold medals at the Kuwait Elite National Championships

The first Kuwait Elite National Championships was held at the Sabah Al-Salem Boxing Hall where seven teams shared the gold medals.
The Kuwait Boxing Federation arranged its fourth competition in this new season and altogether thirteen champions have been crowned in Kuwait City.
Boxers between the age of 18 and 40 years were eligible to participate in the Kuwait Youth National Championships in the Sabah Al-Salem Boxing Hall.
Their elite men boxers could compete in the following 13 categories: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg,86kg, 92kg and +92kg.
The best team of the Kuwait Elite National Championships was the Kuwait City Sports Club with six gold medals ahead of the squads of Fahaheel, Qurain, Sulaibikhat Sports Club, Qadsiah, Naser, Jahra and Sahel.
Fahaheel’s Mansour Mubarak won the opening final of the Kuwait Elite National Championships, the youngster defeated the 18-year-old Yaqoub Ibraheem of the strong Sulaibikhat Sports Club at the minimumweight (48kg).
Naser’s Salem Mohammed achieved the second title of the competition at the flyweight (51kg) while Kuwait City’s Abdullah Faris looked very confident at the bantamweight (54kg) final over Qurain’s Ali Saad.
Qurain had altogether five finalists in the national event but among them only Dikhel Mohammed bagged the title. Kuwait City’s Badi Meshari dominated the lightweight (60kg) final over Ali Abdaljaleel and continued his strong winning path in the national events.
Kuwait City’s Abdelaziz Omar is only 18-year-old and he won the welterweight (67kg) at the last edition of the Youth National Championships. The teenage talent competed among the elites for the very first time and he controlled the final over Fares Ibraheem strongly to take the national title.
Kuwait City’s Khalid Emad (71kg) and Adnan Mohammed (75kg) claimed the next titles in the Sabah Al-Salem Boxing Hall before Fahaheel’s Ebrahim Saad earned the gold medal at the busy light heavyweight (80kg).
The experienced Rakan Khalid claimed a gold medal at the super heavyweight (+92kg) already in the 2022 edition of the Kuwait Youth National Championships. The 21-year-old boxer moved down to the heavyweight (92kg) and he was too strong for all of his opponents including Jarah Naser in the final.
