Seidakmatov, Oroskulov and Usupov were the strongest boxers in the Kyrgyzstan High School National Spartakyad

The Kyrgyzstan High School National Spartakyad was held in their capital city in Bishkek where 77 boxers attended for the titles. Among their most experienced youth boxers Sanzhar Seidakmatov, Aidar Oroskulov, Adilet Egemberdi Uulu and Akhmed Usupov won their next national titles in Bishkek.
Kyrgyzstan took part in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok where their talented boxers claimed one bronze medal in the important event. Bishkek topped the team rankings of the Kyrgyzstan High School National Spartakyad, Chui region and Dzhalal-Abad region became the second and third in the overall list. Altogether 20 out of the 39 medallists were born in 2001 and they can box in the youth level for Kyrgyzstan also in 2019.
Bishkek’s Kenes Omarov Youth Memorial Tournament bronze medallist Samat Karypov involved to the national team this year therefore his victory over Erbol Osmonov in the final of the light flyweight (49kg) was not a surprise in the event. Dzhalal-Abad region’s Altynbek Myktybek Uulu claimed the second title of the event following his success over a more experienced rival, Chui region’s Azat Niyazaliyev at the flyweight (52kg).
Bishkek’s Children of Asia Games bronze medallist Sanzhar Seidakmatov was unlucky in the drawings in the last two editions of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships but he impressed in the national event. The 18-year-old bantamweight (56kg) boxer defeated Talas region’s Doolot Osmonaliyev in the final while Youth National Champion Muso Teshebayev claimed only bronze medal.
Chui region’s Aidar Oroskulov not only attended in the Puerto Princesa 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships but claimed bronze medal there therefore his skills were enough to beat Sarvar Yuldashev in the final of the lightweight (60kg). The 17-year-old talent defeated all of his four opponents with confident boxing.
The next title was taken by Issyk-Kul region’s Youth National Champion Adilet Egemberdi Uulu who claimed bronze medal in the Tashkent 2015 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships. The 18-year-old light welterweight (64kg) boxer was too strong in the final for Chui region’s Cholponbek Mamazakirov and secured his next national title.
Osh region’s Youth National Championships bronze medallist and Issyk-Kul Junior Cup winner Sabyrbek Talantbek Uulu had hard job in the final of the welterweight (69kg) against Issyk-Kul region’s Aidar Azamat Uulu. The final verdict was split decision in the favour of Talantbek Uulu who won his first big national title.
Bishkek’s 17-year-old Kerimbay Erkinov attended in the Puerto Princesa 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships and his stamina was enough to beat Dzhalal-Abad region’s Argen Kultayev in the final of the middleweight (75kg). Dzhalal-Abad region’s Youth National Championships silver medallist Islam Abdykadyr Uulu spent less than nine minutes in the ring against Osh region’s Nodirbek Abdulkasimov when the ringside doctor finished their contest.
Naryn region’s defending Youth National Champion Islam Bektenov proved he is the No.1 at the youth heavyweight (91kg) in Kyrgyzstan and triumphed over Talas region’s Adilet Sarygulov in the final. Bishkek’s ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships bronze medallist Akhmed Usupov is too strong for his opponents in Kyrgyzstan and spent only two minutes in the ring when he stopped Issyk-Kul region’s Dastan Tilekov.
