Registrations are open for the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in the AIBA Database until March 19

The registrations for the Bangkok 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is open in the AIBA Database since February 5 and all Asian National Federations must be entered their squad list and officials until March 19. If your National Federation is hesitating to select a boxer in a weight class, you can add reserve athletes also to the AIBA Database.
The upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be held for both genders and the event is the qualification competition for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. The event will be a historical step also in our continent as it will be the first ever ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be held in 10 women weight classes: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg and +81kg. Furthermore the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be held for the 10 official men weight classes: 49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg and +91kg which means altogether 20 champions will be crowned in Thailand’s capital.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be taking place in Thailand’s capital in Bangkok where boxers who were born in 2000 and in 2001 are eligible to take part in the competition. Asian Boxing Confederation is expected to take part record number of nations and boxers in the 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships due the high importance of the event.
The date of the arrival to the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is April 19 while the departure from Thailand is April 28. The competition period of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is April 21-27 including with a rest day after the quarter-finals on April 25. The bouts will be held in the Indoor Stadium of Huamark with the capacity of 6,000 seats.
