Only three days left until the start of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships

The Press Conference was already done in Sri Lanka and all of the local Medias have been informed about the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships.
The countdown continues, only 3 days to go until the start of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in Sri Lanka’s busy capital city.
Twenty-five nations are planning to participate in the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships which is one of the highlights of the year.
Several of the developing Asian National Federations including Cambodia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq confirmed their participation in the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships.
Kazakhstan selected a powerful team to Colombo, the Central Asian boxing power is hoping to be the No.1 in the medal rankings of the championships. Their female and male U22 and youth teams all have aces in the squad to dominate their weight categories.
Tajikistan’s ASBC Junior Champions such as Farinoz Abdulloyeva and Biloldzhon Iksanov will return to the level of the Asian Championships to earn new titles in Colombo but several other team members are world-class boxers.
The host Sri Lankans will compete with record number of 33 boxers in the championships and their team is planning to make a strong impact in the competition. Their historic ASBC Asian Elite bronze medallist Umayanga Mihiran is the flag bearer of their national team and he is aiming for a title in Colombo.
The event period of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka is between May 10 and 24. The Sport Entries Checks, the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw will take place in the Cinnamon Red Hotel in Colombo.
The first competition day of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships will take place in Colombo on May 12 while the finals are scheduled to be held in two last sessions on May 22 and 23.
The boxers who were born in 2003, 2004, 2005 and in 2006 will be eligible to participate in the U22 age group in Colombo.
The boxers who are members of the 2007 and 2008 age groups will have the right to compete in the youth part of the busy championships.
