Officially announced that Australia’s Brisbane is the host of the 2032 Summer Olympic Games

The Tokyo Olympic Games will be starting with its first competition day on July 24 and all of the teams arrived to Japan’s capital to shine in the boxing venue. Before the start of all actions, and during the final countdown, the International Olympic Committee selected the Australian city, Brisbane as host of the 2032 Summer Olympic Games.

Following the upcoming Tokyo edition, France’s capital Paris will be hosting the next Olympic Games in 2024, Los Angeles can welcome all of the top athletes of the world in 2028. Paris and Los Angeles have been selected as venues of these 33rd and 34th Summer Olympic Games a few years ago.

The Australian city was named as the preferred bidding city and the International Olympic Committee proposed it in June. The IOC’s Executive Board unanimously selected Brisbane as the host city of the 35th Summer Olympic Games therefore the Australians will have 11 years to prepare well to the event.

Melbourne hosted the Olympic Games in 1956 as first Australian city, which followed by Sydney 44 years later in 2000. Brisbane is the new host of the 2032 edition of the Summer Olympic Games as the third Australian city in the history of the main multisport event. Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland which region hosted the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
