Muratov, Seidakmatov and Egemberdi Uulu are among the winners in the Kyrgyz Youth National Spartakyad

The Kyrgyz Youth National Spartakyad was held in their capital city in Bishkek where their future stars such as Rustam Muratov, Sanjar Seidakmatov and Adilet Egemberdi Uulu all won their weight classes. The Kyrgyz Youth National Spartakyad was also a selection event for the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in Bangkok in July 1-7.
Boxers who were born in 1999 and 2000 were eligible to compete in the Kyrgyz Youth National Spartakyad in Bishkek. Altogether 84 male boxers attended in the national event in their capital and ten champions have been crowned. Bishkek hosted the Kyrgyz U21 National Championships and their National Universiade last month and the capital city now arranged their Youth National Spartakyad.
Issyk-Kul region’s defending Kyrgyz Youth National Champion Rustam Muratov is one of their best boxer in this age group who won his next national title. The 18-year-old light flyweight (49kg) boxer, who claimed silver medal in the Pavlyukov Youth Memorial Tournament in Anapa, was excellent once again in their national event. His opponent was Batken region’s Beknur Polotov in the final but Muratov was quicker and stronger this time.
Issyk-Kul region’s Kylymbek Aubakirov moved up to the flyweight (52kg) only in the recent months and following his bronze medal in the Issyk-Kul Cup he was able to get his first national title. The 18-year-old talent defeated Osh’s Syimyk Daniyar Uulu in the final of the Spartakyad while Talas region’s Youth National Championships runner-up Izat Niyazaliyev claimed only bronze medal in the event.
Bishkek’s Children of Asia Games bronze medallist Sanjar Seidakmatov joined to the youth age group this January but his current skills were enough to beat experienced rivals in the Spartakyad. He eliminated Chui region’s Akim Prizes Junior Tournament silver medallist Dastan Ormonov in the semi-final and Issyk-Kul region’s U21 National Champion Anarbek Zhaparov in the final of the bantamweight (56kg).
Issyk-Kul region’s ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships bronze medallist Adilet Egemberdi Uulu eliminated Beket Makhmutov Youth Tournament silver medallist Aybek Sultanbayev in the semi-final and triumphed over Batken region’s Junior National Championships bronze medallist Bekmamat Kipchakov in the final.
Dzhalal-Abad region’s Akzholbay Talantbek Uulu had a close quarter-final against Aktan Zhumakadyrov but after that he was able to beat Heydar Aliyev Junior Cup bronze medallist Sabyrbek Talantbek Uulu in the semi-final and Suyorbek Nasirov in the gold medal bout of the light welterweight (64kg).
Issyk-Kul region’s Youth National Championships silver medallist Erlan Kydyrov had a difficult semi-final against Arzubek Zhanybayev but following that close bout he did much better performance in the final of the welterweight (69kg). Kydyrov was too strong for Dmitriy Puchnin whose ringside abandoned their gold medal bout in the third round.
Chui region’s Youth National Champion and Issyk-Kul Junior Cup winner Dastan Zhumabek Uulu was born only in 2000 but he showed smart and tactical boxing in the Spartakyad. The Kyrgyz middleweight (75kg) hope defeated Bishkek’s Arlen Toktonazarov and Bishkek’s Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu in the final stages of the national event.
Four boxers attended at the light heavyweight (81kg) in Bishkek where Chui region’s Youth National Championships silver medallist and Beket Makhmutov Youth Tournament bronze medallist 18-year-old Danislam Toktorbayev did enough in the final to beat Osh region’s Temirlan Sultanaliyev.
Chui region’s Beket Makhmutov Youth Tournament silver medallist Ilyaz Niyazov stopped all of his rivals in the Youth National Spartakyad including Naryn region’s Eldiyar Cholponbekov in the semi-final and Osh region’s Bekali Abdisatarov in the gold medal bout. The 17-year-old heavyweight (91kg) boxer spent less than one round in the final when the referee confirmed his RSC success.
Issyk-Kul region’s Youth National Championships silver medallist Amantur Mustapayev won the last gold medal in the Youth National Spartakyad. The super heavyweight (+91kg) boxer was too strong for Naryn region’s Islam Bektenov in the final while Bishkek’s Bunyod Yansupov claimed only bronze medal in Bishkek.
