Mrs. Marina Ni led the Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships
The Technical Meeting was held in the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates after the Sport Entries Check. The Technical Meeting took place in the Le Meridien Hotel where Mrs. Marina Ni of Kazakhstan is the Technical Delegate of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships and led the meeting.
The Competition Manager of the event Mr. Hassan Al-Hamadi welcomed all of the participants in Dubai. Following the Roll Call of the countries, the Technical Delegate introduced the participation status, the new rules, the schedule of the event, the official draw, the prohibited activities, the weight of the gloves per weight classes, the new categories, the uniforms guideline, and the Covid-19 measures. The medal protocols, the AIBA disciplinary code, and the bout review also has been introduced at the 2021 ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships.
Following the Sport Entries Check, it is confirmed that 132 youth and 136 junior boxers are attending in the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships. Hand wraps will be used and provided only once in the competition where Green Hill is the official equipment provider as in the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships.
The competition venue is in the same location as the accommodation therefore no need for transportation during the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships. Mrs. Marina Ni informed all of the 15 attending National Federations about any other important business and arrangements of the championships. She underlined the mask wearing, the social distances and all of the Covid-19 safety measures which will be effective in the event.
