Mrs. Karina Picson led the Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships

The Technical Meeting of the first edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships was held in the Inn & Go Kuwait Plaza Hotel which is the official accommodation place of the delegations in Kuwait City. Altogether 150 boxers from 21 nations will be competing for the medals in Kuwait City’s Shaikh Al-Abdullah Sports Complex from tomorrow.
The ASBC Asian Schoolboys Confederation Boxing Championships is a new milestone in our continent and it is holding at the first time. ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba, ASBC Executive Director Mr. Ali Salameh and the President of the Kuwait Boxing Federation Mr. Mohammed Mensi Al-Enezi welcomed all guests and delegations in Kuwait City.
The official Technical Delegate of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships Mrs. Karina Picson of the Philippines led the Technical Meeting in Kuwait City and informed the delegations about all details of the events.
After the roll call of the countries she informed all delegations about the schedule of the competition, the competition venue, the coaches’ requirements, the test scales, the official draw, the scoring system, the rules, the boxing equipment, the requirements during the competition and other important issues as well.
All participants shall to follow the ASBC Disciplinary Code and respect for all rules of the championships. The bouts will be held in three rounds of one minute and thirty seconds per round, and one minute rest per round.

August 5, 16:00 & 19:00 – Day3 Quarter-finals
August 6 – Rest Day
August 7, 16:00 – Day4 Semi-finals
August 8, 16:00 – Day5 Finals
August 9 – Departures of the delegations
