Mr. Abid Jahangir – It was a phenomenal event in Colombo

The company of Green Hill was the equipment provider at the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in Colombo, Sri Lanka as in all of the previous continental events in the previous years.

The relationship between Green Hill and the Asian Boxing Confederation is excellent and their cooperations began still in the 2000s when ASBC has been officially formed. Both brands have the same values, spirits and philosophies which support the long-term relationship in the boxing events.

The Green Hill was founded in 1964 and after a few years, the company became a well-known worldwide brand which was the success of his hard work. Green Hill was the main equipment supplier of the whole boxing world in the ‘90s and also in the first 25 years of the new millennium.

Mr. Abid Jahangir sent a letter to the Asian Boxing Confederation and the Sri Lankan Boxing organizers after the end of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships.

“It was my first visit to Sri Lanka, and it was truly a privilege to experience the warmth of its people, the richness of its culture, and the vibrant structure of Colombo. I must commend the efforts being made to develop and promote the sport of boxing in the country—they are undoubtedly on the right path.

This event marks a historic milestone as Sri Lanka hosts such a significant boxing competition for the very first time. It was a phenomenal experience, and an absolute honour for both myself and Green Hill to be part of this landmark occasion.
