Kuwait is planning to host 10 National Championships this season
The Kuwait Boxing Federation issued its agenda and calendar for the new season which started with the Schoolboys National Championships and will lasted until the third edition of the Elite National Championships next May.
The Kuwait Boxing Federation will arrange altogether 10 National Championships during the period from October 2025 until May 2026 which is their sports season.
The season opened with the Schoolboys National Championships where 10 boxing clubs competed for the medals and prizes. The Kuwait Schoolboys National Championships saw eleven champions in the capital city and it was the Kuwait Boxing Federation’s first competition in this new season.
Boxers from the 2011 and 2012 age groups were eligible to participate in the Kuwait Schoolboys National Championships and these new talents started the pathway of their career in the Sabah Al-Salem Boxing Hall.
Their second event will be the Kuwait Junior National Championships in the upcoming days for the 2009 and 2010 born boxers.
The third competition, the Youth National Championships will take place in the Sabah Al-Salem Boxing Hall in Kuwait City from November 1 until 5.
The fourth event will be held still this year, their Kuwait Elite National Championships, also still this November from 22nd until the 26th. Kuwait’s best elite male boxers are all planning to participate in this competition which is their main selection event for the international challenges.
The beginning of 2026 relates to the Kuwait 2025-2026 Sports Season and the first event will be the Second Youth Boxing Championships between January 24 and 28.
The second event for the schoolboys will feature on February 7-11, while the 7th edition of the Ramadan Elite Boxing Championships is scheduled to take place from February 28 until March 4.
The second Junior National Championships, the third Youth National Championships and the third Elite Championships will close the sports season in Kuwait on April and May. The last event, the 3rd Kuwait Elite National Championships will be held on May 2-6 in 2026.
