One of the top boxing powers, Kazakhstan will compete with maximum number of 51 boxers in the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships which starts with the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw today.

The host country of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships is planning to be the No.1 in the team rankings as in several previous editions in the past. Following their hard training sessions and preparation tournaments, all of their girls and boys are ready to show their upgrades in Astana.

Their junior girls are relatively not experienced yet but the next generation is ready to show their talent in the championships. Aiym Tankibayeva (46kg), Sila Bibolsynkyzy (48kg), Alina Kudaigenova (63kg) and Aisulu Mukhit (66kg) were born in 2008 but all trained together with the older junior girls in the previous weeks.

Their junior boxing team competed in several tournaments in 2023 in various countries in the European and Asian continents to increase the experience and international exposures of the boxers. Ramazan Orynbassar (48kg), Tagir Satayev (63kg), Bekarys Nurmukhan (66kg), Zhassulan Berdaly (70kg), Bakytzhan Aitmukhanov (80kg) and Beksultan Kairatuly (+80kg) are all won competitions this year and they are ready to shine in the front of the local fans.

The youth national team also impressed in various international competitions and almost all of them have experience from at least one of the ASBC Championships since 2019. The Youth World Championships silver medallist Daulet Tulemissov is one of the top names in the men’s youth national team who is aiming for a gold medal at the light heavyweight (80kg).

The two-time ASBC Asian Junior Champion Torekhan Sabyrkhan, Uslam Seksenbayev, Ivan Yermolenko, Islam Sovetov, Bek Zholdasbek and Aidar Kadyrkhan all have more than 100 contests during their career.
