Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan dominated the junior finals in Braila

Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan achieved seven gold medals at the Dracula Open Tournament during the junior finals in Braila.
Kazakhstan’s Junior National Champion Arman Myrsabit was smaller than his teammate, Almaz Zhunussov but he had amazing rhythm in the first round in their junior pinweight (46kg) final bout. The Turkestan-based Myrsabit proved an energetic performance in this final which was a repeat match between the two youngsters and it was delivered the same result.
Uzbekistan’s Junior National Cup winner Bobomurod Boymirzayev and Kazakhstan’s Abay-based Madiyar Abdukarimov both are amazing at the junior bantamweight (54kg) and they had a brilliant final in Braila. The 16-year-old Uzbek overcame the Kazakh southpaw in the attacks mostly in the first and second rounds and he had the advantage on the judges’ scorecards. The Uzbek was untouchable in the third round, he enjoyed the fight very well and he proved one of the top performances in the junior finals.
Uzbekistan’s Asilbek Abdukadirov and Kazakhstan’s next Abay-based boxer, Aziz Dulat made the next spectacular final in Braila. The featherweight (57kg) talents landed several punches in the first round but Dulat was enough punctual in the second to take the lead on the judges’ scorecards. Abdukadirov moved forward without any stoppage in the third but Dulat has the defensive skills to win excellent final bout.
Uzbekistan’s Abrorbek Sharipov received several punches in the first round from his Ukrainian opponent, Rostyslav Horodynskyi but he turned up the heat in time in their lightweight (60kg) final. Sharipov controlled the second and third rounds well enough to win the final and achieve the second gold medal for Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan’s ASBC Asian Junior Champion Saidkhuja Sadillakhudjayev looked faster in the exchanges than Kazakhstan’s Amir Ramazan but he had only 3:2 advantage on the judges’ scorecards after two minutes. The Uzbek continued the same game play in the second and third rounds and he won his next important international event with outstanding performance.
Abylay Talgat and Toregali Seidullayev both achieved medals in the recent Kazakhstan Junior National Championships and they met in the final of the light middleweight (70kg) in Braila. Seidullayev counter-attacked his compatriot successfully in most of the exchanges and he won this tactical final by unanimous decision.
Nurassyl Aitekeyev defeated Adil Medelkhan in the semi-finals of the recent Kazakhstan Junior National Championships and the two talents met in the final of the Dracula Open again. The Almaty region’s Medelkhan worked better in the light heavyweight (80kg) bout and he made a revenge after that loss in Kazakhstan.
