Jannatul Ferdous is the next woman hope in Bangladesh who earned the national title

The finals for the female boxers took place at the 7th Bangladesh Women’s National Championships in Dhaka.
The women boxers could participate in eleven categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the heavyweight (81kg) in the National Championships.
Bangladesh launched its women’s boxing only in the last decade but since then, their female boxers competed in the level of the World Championships as well.
Bangladesh Army’s Jannatul Ferdous began boxing in 2016 and she had the routine to win the first category, the minimumweight (48kg) in the National Championships. She proved a top performance in the entire competition and Bangladesh Ansar’s Tanjila was also not able to stop her in Dhaka.
Qaima Khatun is another boxer from the Bangladesh Army who shined in the National Championships, she was too smart for Rahima at the light flyweight (50kg).
Zinnat Ferdous is a top star in Bangladesh, the best in the women’s national team and the US-based boxer dominated both of her contests in the Championships, including Afra Khandakar of Ansar in the final of the flyweight (52kg).
Bangladesh Ansar’s first title was achieved by Antara Aktar Rain at the bantamweight (54kg) where she had the better punches than Seema in the final.
The South Asian Games bronze medallist Shamima Akhter is the second most experienced boxer in the international stage of boxing behind to Zinnat Ferdous and she claimed the title of the featherweight (57kg) after beating Rain Khatun from the Bangladesh Army.
Saki Akhter, another South Asian Games competitor, dominated the lightweight (60kg) final against Naushin Tasnim. Sonia Akhter Khukumani (63kg) and Neela Akhter (66kg) bagged the next two titles in the National Championships with confidence.
Anita Islam, a bronze medallist from the 2019 South Asian Games, moved up to the light middleweight (70kg), and she stopped Fatema Akhter for the title.
