Indonesia’s international event the second edition of the Kapolri Cup will be held in Manado City in July 1-9

Manado City which is located in the North Sulawesi Province and affiliated to the Indonesian Boxing Association will be hosting the second edition of the Kapolri Cup in July 1-9. The Kapolri Cup will be preparation event for the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games. All Asian National Federation can find the invitation in the ASBC Facebook page and ASBC websites which contains all details about the upcoming strong competition.
Manado City is famous of its boxing schools and will be hosting their international event second time. The competition period of the Kapolri Cup is July 3-8. The competition is a preparation event for the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games and both genders can take part in the Kapolri Cup in Manado City where 13 champions will be crowned.
Seven men weight classes from the light flyweight (49kg) up to the middleweight (75kg) and six women categories from the light flyweight (48kg) up to the light welterweight (64kg) will be held in Manado City. Indonesia will be hosting the Asian Games in August and the country’s best boxers are preparing hard to achieve medals in the most important elite event of the years.
