Indonesia has strong strategic plans for the upcoming period

The new management of the Indonesian Boxing Federation launches its new strategic and event plans for this year.

The General Meeting of the Indonesian Boxing Federation was held in Jakarta just a few days ago and all of the important positions are fulfilled for the upcoming years until 2029. Dr. Hillary Brigitta Lasut, S.H., LL.M, the youngest member of the House of Representatives between 2019 and 2024, is elected as the new President of the Indonesian Boxing Federation.

The new Vice-Presidents of the Indonesian Boxing Federation are Mr. Harpen Reza Ali, one of the most experienced Asian Technical Delegates, Mrs. Shelly Selowati H. Soejono, Mr. Jovan Latuconsina, Mr. Brigjen Pol. Prof. Dr. Hoiruddin Hasibuan, Mrs. Trinovi Khairani, and Mr. Eka Putra.

Their Coach, Ringside Doctor, Referee and Judge, Training, Examination and Certification Program in North Sumatra will take place end of this month which is the start of a new era in Indonesia’s boxing life.

Indonesia’s next event will be the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Cup in North Sumatra from September 27 until October 4. The military competition will feature for their elite women and men boxers in the island of Sumatra.

The Coach, Ringside Doctor, Referee and Judge, Training, Examination and Certification Program is scheduled to take place in DKI Jakarta on October 17-21.

The National Sports Week will feature in Central Sulawesi on October 23-30 to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the Indonesian Boxing Federation.

The Indonesian Boxing Federation is planning to host an Asian Open Tournament end of October and beginning of November which could be their first international event with the era of the new management.

The next Coach, Ringside Doctor, Referee and Judge, Training, Examination and Certification Program will take place in Jakarta in November.

The Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure Cup will be their last activity this year and the Indonesians will compete also in the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand on December which is the region’s top multisport event.

The new management of the Indonesian Boxing Federation is planning to host more international and regional competitions in 2026.
