Great things have small beginnings – ASBC and Wesing donated the Nepal youth boxing team in Bangkok
President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and AIBA Vice-President Mr. Serik Konakbayev, furthermore the whole ASBC management together with Wesing Company, the official supplier of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships, supported the Nepali youth boxing team with new equipments in Bangkok.
The Asian Boxing Confederation launched its “Great things have small beginnings” campaign in 2017 to support the developing Asian affiliated National Federations with new equipments which is their start for a new era and further developments. Fourteen Asian countries received new equipments during the roadshow of the campaign in 2017 and seven more were donated in the recent days.
Following the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships, the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships, and the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships, ASBC and Wesing grant programs are continued in the new edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships Bangkok.
Nepal sent one woman and one man boxer to the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships to Bangkok and both of them showed good impression. Their two boxers were able to fight against world class opponents until the end of the final bell which simply shows their developments in the youth age group. Nepal has got strategic plans to develop their boxing life and the new equipments could be used in their next national event.
