Cambodian Boxing Federation hosted a National Referee & Judge Course in Phnom Penh

Cambodian Boxing Federation increased their level of activities in the recent one year and the developing country is moving ahead step by step to be successful at the 2023 edition of the Southeast Asian Games. The Cambodian Boxing Federation hosted a National Referee & Judge Course in their capital city in Phnom Penh as a next road in their development.
Altogether 40 referees & judges, including two women participants at the very first time, attended in Course from each region of Cambodia which 3-days long event was taking place in Phnom Penh. The Cambodian Boxing Federation hosted their National Boxing Championships earlier this month and their next activity was this educational project.
The active Secretary General of the Cambodian Boxing Federation Mr. Sophoan Buy also attended in the Referee & Judge Course to support all participants and organized the key issues of the event. The Instructor of the National Referee & Judge Course was AIBA 2-stars R&J Mr. Champahom of Thailand.
Cambodia sent boxers to the last edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships to Bangkok and their athletes competed in some other international events as well in 2018. Cambodia is planning to attend more international events and host new national competitions in the future and the education of their referees & judges are important step in those roads.
