ASBC President Mr. Serik Konakbayev arrived to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Serik Konakbayev arrived to the boxing venue of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro where 64 Asian boxers from 17 countries are competing for the medals.
Mr. Serik Konakbayev will be negotiating with leaders of the boxing world including with AIBA President Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu during his stay in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Mr. Serik Konakbayev will be watching the performance of the Asian boxers in the most important event of the cycle from the Riocentro Pavilion 6 which is the venue of the boxing competition in the upcoming 16 days.
Eight Asian boxers from China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Qatar, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be in action in the first competition day of the boxing tournament of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
