ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba negotiated with Mr. Wu Di during the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Boxing Championships in Xiamen

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba of United Arab Emirates followed all of the bouts in the 1st edition of the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Boxing Championships in Xiamen, China. During his stay in China he negotiated with the first Vice-President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Wu Di.

Mr. Wu Di of China is member also in the AIBA Executive Committee and discussed with the ASBC President for 2020 developments and programs. The upcoming year will be closing the Tokyo Olympic cycle and will be the busiest period also for the Asian Boxing Confederation with several planning continental championships.

ASBC Executive Director Mr. Ali Salameh, ASBC Financial Director Mr. Wail Elsadig and ASBC Administrative Director Mr. Bassam Ghanem also attended in the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Boxing Championships in Xiamen.

Following the four different ASBC Championships which covered all age groups, a new event will be held before the end of the year, the ASBC Asian Grand Slam. The idea of the first ever Asian Grand Slam arisen many years ago but the project is now realized with the support of the Asian Boxing Confederation, and BMA China.

ASBC is planning to host the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Boxing Championships after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games also next year. The planning date of the second edition is December 2020 and the venue will be decided later.
