ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba – Fair play is the most important factor in Bangkok

Following his speech at the Opening Ceremony, President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association Mr. Anas Alotaiba is following the contests on the first day of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.
“The venue here in Bangkok is a perfect place for an ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships. The Thai organizers have done superb job once again and I am satisfied with their efforts in all aspects of the event.
After the first contests we have the impression that the Referees & Judges are working well in Bangkok, we think that all of their decisions were correct. Fair play is the most important factor and we could recognize the motivated work of all officials.
All of the boxers are well-prepared to this fantastic ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships and the quality of the event improved. Laos and Afghanistan also won contests in the first session and we hope that new stars will be born in Bangkok,” said ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba summarizing his first experiences.
