ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mr. Lalit Prasad’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to India’s national boxing coach Mr. Lalit Prasad’s family following her mother Mrs. Kamla Devi passed away at the age of 77.

Mr. Lalit Prasad was India’s multiple National Champion as a boxer in the 1990s, he claimed silver medal at the 1995 South Asian Games and bronze at the 1997 Indonesian President’s Cup besides to his many international participations. Mr. Lalit Prasad joined to India’s coaching staff following his active career and serves the country’s boxing life successfully.

Mr. Lalit Prasad supports their head coach Mr. Santiago Nieva’s work and helps to their elite national team. India celebrated two medals in the last edition of the AIBA World Boxing Championships in Yekaterinburg. India achieved nine quota places already to the Tokyo Olympic Games through the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event which was also the success of Mr. Lalit Prasad’s hard work.

Mr. Lalit Prasad’s mother was suffering from rheumatoid and UTI infections in the recent period and lost her last battle today. May her soul will rest in peace in India.
