ASBC President and the whole management send their sincere condolences to the victims of the Typhoon Molave which stopped the Vietnamese Youth & Junior & Schoolboys National Championships in Quang Ngai Province

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association, furthermore the whole ASBC management sends their sincere condolences to the victims of the Typhoon Molave in the Philippines and in Vietnam.

Altogether 290 contests have been done in the Vietnam Youth & Junior & Schoolboys National Boxing Championships in Quang Ngai Province but the competition has been stopped due to the Typhoon Molave which affected the area badly.

The tropical storm has resulted in heavy torrential rains, widespread flooding, landslides, and loss of life in the Central Region of Vietnam. Typhoon Molave was forecasted before its peak point and more than 1.3 million people have been evacuated in Vietnam but killed more than 130 people and damaged thousands of homes.

According to the management of the Vietnam Boxing Federation, their boxing family is in safe and the situation was under control in the competition venue. The Vietnam Youth & Junior & Schoolboys National Boxing Championships to be continued and re-scheduled after the typhoon and will be finalized it according to the new plans.
