ASBC Official Statement

RESOLUTION:

We, the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC):

• Reaffirm that the International Boxing Association (AIBA) is the one and only governing
body of Olympic Boxing.
• Vow to support the democratically elected Confederation and AIBA leaderships as well
as the Mission and Goals of AIBA.
• Call upon the International Olympic Committee to recognize the significant
advancements AIBA has made in governance, anti-doping, finances and the refereeing
and judging program and continue to recognize AIBA as the only governing body of
Olympic Boxing.
• Re-establish communication with AIBA and serve the athletes by approving the
qualification system as established and approved by AIBA for the Tokyo Olympic Games
