As part of the ASBC Development Program the next international training camp will be held in Kyrgyzstan in high altitude

The Asian Boxing Confederation supported two international training camps earlier this year to prepare to the main goal of the year the Asian Games. The next third international training and sparring camp will be held in Issyk-Kul, Kyrgyzstan from July 4 until the 24th where the teams can enjoy the positive effects of the region’s high altitude.
The first training camp of the ASBC Development program was hosted in Almaty, Kazakhstan in February with a great success which was also visited by ASBC President Mr. Serik Konakbayev. Turkmenistan Boxing Federation with the active support of the Asian Boxing Confederation was also hosted an international training and sparring camp for the Asian nations in Ashgabat last month.
ASBC President Mr. Serik Konakbayev had meetings in the capital city of the Kyrgyz Republic in Bishkek and he discussed also about the upcoming third training camp with the President of the Kyrgyz Boxing Federation Mr. Abdybakyt Khalmurzaev and their head coach Mr. Daniyar Jusubaliev.
The Kyrgyz Boxing Federation has already invited the national team of Turkmenistan and the best boxers of Sri Lanka to the training camp which will be held in Issyk-Kul but the event is open for all Asian National Federations. Top coaches as Turkmenistan’s former Russian head coach Mr. Aleksandr Lebziak and Sri Lanka’s Ukrainian coach Mr. Vladimir Vynnykov will be supporting the participants in Issyk-Kul.
The Issyk-Kul is the biggest lake of the Kyrgyz Republic and its location is in the picturesque mountains with unique climate and the place is famous as a holiday option. The training camp is located over 1500m above the sea level on high altitude which could be perfect place for preparation before the start of the Asian Games.
The Kyrgyz Boxing Federation has got strong management and new young coaching staff which is widen their focus to outside of the country and trying to increase their possibilities and results into a new level. The main purpose of the international training camp is a preparation for the upcoming Asian Games which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia this August. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is also on the focus for the Kyrgyz Boxing Federation.
