The drawing ceremony was held in the city of Qianan, China where the AIBA Asian & Oceanian Olympic Qualification Event will be starting with its first competition day later today. This is the very first time when the Oceanian boxers can fight together with the Asian athletes in an Olympic Qualification Event.
After the general weigh-in 46 women and 180 men boxers from 35 nations can fight for the Olympic spots in the AIBA Asian & Oceanian Olympic Qualification Event in Qianan. The number of the available Olympic quotas are 30 men and 6 women for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the city of Qianan.
