AIBA 3-star R&J Course will be held in the Thailand Open Boxing Tournament in June

The upcoming Thailand Open Boxing Tournament will be held in the capital city of Thailand in Bangkok in June and during the competition a 3-star AIBA Refereeing & Judging Course is also scheduled to the official program.
The Thailand Open Boxing Tournament or previously known as the King’s Cup is one of the most traditional international event in the Asian continent and the local organizers are expecting record number of countries and boxers to the competition.
The upcoming 3-star AIBA R&J Course will be held from June 28 until July 7 including with the date of the arrival and departure. The Course period of the seminar is between June 29 and July 6 while the deadline for all applications is April 27.
Current certified and active AIBA 2-star R&Js who certified for at least 12 months or current AIBA 3-star R&Js who are not active in the international level since 2012, are eligible to take part in the upcoming 3-star AIBA Refereeing & Judging Course in Bangkok.
The last ASBC Refereeing & Judging Commission Meeting was held in Tashkent during the rest day of the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships with the lead of the Acting Chairman of the Commission Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib.
Several Refereeing & Judging programs are running in Asia and Bangkok will be the next step in this road. There is high number of AIBA 1-star R&Js in Asia but 3-stars are still less in comparison to Europe currently.
