AIBA 1-Star Coach Course was held in Bishkek

The Kyrgyz Boxing Federation hosted an important AIBA 1-Star Coach Course during their National Elite Boxing Championships in Bishkek. This coach course is hosted by the Kyrgyz Boxing Federation with the assistance from the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) for the future developments of the Central Asian country.
The courses contained also theoretical and practical classes in Bishkek where the Instructor of the AIBA 1-Star Coach Course was Mr. Valentyn Ostyanov of Ukraine who is member of the AIBA Coach Commission and has got a lot of experiences in the world of boxing. He led several previous AIBA 1-Star Coach Courses mainly in the former Soviet countries.
Altogether 24 coaches have been attended in the AIBA 1-Star Coach Course during the Kyrgyz National Boxing Championships. 18 trainers arrived to the course from Kyrgyzstan, 2 from Mongolia, 2 from Uzbekistan and 2 from Kazakhstan to raise their experiences and work as AIBA 1-star Coach in the near future.
Kyrgyzstan’s Mr. Akzhol Azhibekov is one of the national coach of the Kyrgyz boxing team who attended also in the AIBA 1-Star Coach Course in Bishkek. Kazakhstan’s Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov, who is the current head coach in Nepal, also participated in the AIBA 1-Star Coach Course in Bishkek.
