Hossein Moussa Khani is the No.1 in the Iranian Youth National Championships

The Iranian Youth National Championships was held in Hamedan which is located in the Western part of the country. Hossein Moussa Khani is Iran’s big prospect and future hope who defeated all of his rivals by large margin of difference in their Youth National Championships and defended his throne.
Boxers who were born in 1999 and in 2000 were eligible to take part in the Iranian Youth National Championships. The Iranian youth team delivered one gold medal in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok where Reza Hassan Nia won the title of the light heavyweight (81kg).
Junior National Championships silver medallist Reza Heidari won the first gold medal in the Iranian Youth National Championships in Hamedan after beating Moslem Khanizade in the final of the light flyweight (49kg). Heidari is spending his first year among the youth boxers which means he will have the chance to take part in the 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships.
Shahin Ataei has got experiences from the previous events and arrived to Hamedan as the main favourite of the flyweight (52kg). Following his gold medal in the 2016 Iranian Junior National Championships the 17-year-old talent took his first youth national title in Hamedan where he triumphed over Saeed Sholibor.
Ashkan Rezaei competed in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok this July and after his gold medal in the 2016 in Gorgan, he was able to get his second title in the Iranian Youth National Championships. Ashkan Rezaei, who is a strong attacking boxer, launched successful combinations against
Iran’s next future hope Hossein Hadian won the titles in the 2015 and in the 2016 Iranian Junior National Championships and joined to the youth age group with a success winning his next gold medal following his success over Milad Safiari. The 17-year-old talent was too quick for his rivals at the lightweight (60kg) and waiting for his debut in the international competitions in 2018.
Ali Fallah Khoshdel has got experiences from the international level therefore his triumph over ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships competitor Amin Khazrati was the next step of his development. Their final at the light welterweight (64kg) was one of the most spectacular in the Iranian Youth National Championships.
Hossein Moussa Khani competed well already in the 2015 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in Tashkent where he claimed a bronze medal. He dominated all of his national events since 2014 and he continued that winning series in Hamedan where he was too strong for another international level boxer Mohammed Asghari in the final of the welterweight (69kg).
Iranian Junior National Champion Hossein Taheri Rouzbahani delivered the next gold medal in the event after beating Mohammad Nuraei in the final of the middleweight (75kg). Iranian Junior National Championships bronze medallist Mehdi Bagheri secured his first ever national title in Hamedan where he was slightly better than Seif Aziz Panah.
Ruzbeh Safari eliminated Abdullah Dalvand in the semi-final and showed better performance in the final of the heavyweight (91kg) than Saied Salavati. Iran has got traditionally strong boxers at the super heavyweight (+91kg) which was won by Mohammad Hossein Saghafi after defeating Amir Hossein Jafari in the final.
